Sakura

I'm not 100% sure but I believe these are cherry blossoms. The wild cherrys around these parts are too sour for my liking, but the birds really love them. This tree was just a small one, perhaps pruned back for landscaping, but the dainty flowers were a bright splash of color in among the pine trees. I've always thought it kind of backwards the way the flowers bloom before the leaves of the tree sprout.
