I have learned that to find beauty in nature one must not limit themselves to flowers and butterflies. Here a dried cone from the pinon tree lies on a fallen juniper log. A couple of years earlier and I might have just seen it as a pinecone on a dead log. A couple of years ago I might not even have noticed it. My camera really opened my eyes and broadened my vision so when I came across the little pinecone, I saw a delicate flower lying upon a beautiful table.

You've got a sharp eye! Lovely shot for a "dry" object. I like the contrast and the texture. The blur background makes everything stands out as well.

Excellent. And you are quite right. One must find the beauty in nature not only in things that are naturally beautiful. One must seek the naturally beautiful in all things.
