A chipmunk checks to make sure the coast is clear before running off with a grape that rolled 'accidently on purpose' to his feet while my children enjoyed a picnic at the zoo. The chipmunks are wild and are not part of the zoo's featured population but are just as entertaining as any of the creatures there. The Cheyenne Mountain Zoo prides itself with open air enclosures that mimic the individual species natural habitat. The only thing I don't like about it is the steep incline one must walk to get to the exhibits towards the upper level of the zoo grounds. (Trolley rides are available for a small fee)

Great job! I tried to get a picture of some incredibly brave squirrels this weekend...I mean, they would just walk right up to you, but I failed to get that perfect shot. Well done here, I love the DOF!

Good shot, indeed. Good detatils even at such distance.

Fantastic. I have these all over the place but they are far too quick for me to catch. I have yet to have a successful shot of one.
